After selling his Altered in Germany and moving to Orlando Florida at the end of 1991, Tony started looking for a new racecar at the beginning of 1992, so he could get out to the track as soon as possible. He had allways been interested in a 27'Model T and it didn´t take him long to find one. The car below was Tony´s first racecar in America, that he bought in March 1992.

When Tony started out he was happy to be back on the racetrack, but soon he realised that he wasn´t going to be racing the 27'Model T for too long, due to the driving position being very uncomfortable. Which can be seen on the following pictures.

Not long after deciding to part with the 27`Roadster Tony bought this 23` four link with a big block Chevy turn key. Tony´s boss Kurt had asked Tony if he would like to try it out and at the same time upgrade his licence to Super Comp which Tony went a long and did. After that a deal was done and Tony had once again a new car. The right picture was taken at Moroso Park at the Super Chevy Race as Tony went to test his new ride in competition. |

After the race the chassis was stripped to the bare chassis and a new roll cage was fitted with some other new additions, plus a new front end to give it a cleaner look and the motor got a once over to. Tony´s plans were to get the car ready in time for the begining of the 1993 racing season.
